Sales manager for Spider

Spider, SafeWorks’ suspended platform division, has promoted Jacob Bergstresser as its Chicago sales manager.

Bergstresser joined Spider in 2010 as the district sales representative for the Denver operation centre. He will now head the Spider sales team in Chicago, providing suspended scaffolding and fall protection solutions throughout Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

John Sotiroff, Spider vice president sales and distribution, said: “Jacob has demonstrated superb leadership and sales skills during his tenure at our Denver branch. With his help, the Denver team dominated their market and Spider’s wind access program was developed. We anticipate Jacob will utilise his broad experience in sales, program management, and field solutions to succeed in the Chicago market.”
