SX180 for Arentis

Dutch rental company Arentis has taken delivery of its first 180ft Genie SX180 boom lift, from local distributor HDW.

The company is based in Terneuzen, in the far south west of the Netherlands, with a branch in Belgium, and offers a wide range of equipment for rent or lease, from tools to cranes, trucks to telehandlers and forklifts, lighting towers, generators scaffold towers and compressors.

The company said: “Our is goal is to be ‘one stop shop’ supplier for machinery and tools for its customers. So when Genie released the world’s tallest self-propelled aerial work platform we just had to have it in our rental fleet.”

Arentis' new Genie SX180


The SX180 offers a working height of 57 metres and a maximum outreach of 24.4 metres. Artenis said that the arrival of the new machine has been “warmly welcomed” by its customers and that its 2.5 metre wide transport width and 24.5 tonnes overall weight make it relatively easy to transport.
