David Symon selling cranes

David Symon, previously with Cox plant and along with Roger Taylor, associated with Peterhead crane hire, JD crane hire, Taylor crane hire and others is now fronting Nigg Plant Ltd.

Nigg (Plant) Ltd successfully bid for the cranes and equipment from the closed Nigg offshore yard last year. At the time Symon told Vertikal that he was purely working as a consultant to Nigg Plant and that Roger Taylor was assisting him.

The Nigg plant equipment, being advertised (not with Vertikal) includes: Krupp All Terrain cranes up to 80 tonnes, Rough Terrain cranes, forklifts, trailers and some big lattice units including a 1,000 tonne series three Lampson crawler crane.

So who owns Nigg (plant) Ltd of Edinburgh? We don’t know. Who do we think? We can’t possibly comment!
