Manitowoc appoint global product manager

The Manitowoc Crane Group has appointed Raman Joshi as global product manager for the Manitowoc range of crawler cranes, reporting directly to Larry Bryce, vice president of worldwide marketing. Joshi will be responsible for the worldwide strategic direction for the complete Manitowoc product line.

Raman Joshi


His duties include overseeing strategy, alliances, acquisitions, and financial performance, as well as tactical execution of business plans. He will work closely with the company’s sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing locations around the world.

Joshi is based at the Manitowoc Crane Group facility in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. A mechanical engineer, he most recently served as US sales and marketing manager for the NSK, one of the world’s largest bearing manufacturers. Prior to NSK, he spent four years working in Osaka, Japan as an overseas project manager for a machine tool manufacturing company. He is fluent in Hindi, English, and Japanese

“With such excellent credentials and a proven track record, Manitowoc Crane Group is delighted Raman is joining our industry-leading team,” said Larry Bryce.
“We need to protect our position at the top of the lifting industry by continuously developing our business,” he continued. “Raman will play a key role by looking at all aspects of our Manitowoc product line and ensuring we execute our plans on time and on budget.”
