New concept boom takes off
If you recall, the 20 metre Pagliero - Multitel MX200 caught our eye at the SAIE show in Bologna. The unusual low profile, all aluminium boom lift has two - three section, telescopic booms, a very low shut height and great up and over reach with zero tailswing.

The Pagliero-Multitel MX200 in action
Since its introduction Pagliero says it has booked more than 120 orders for the MX200. The first flush of orders came from the Italian market, but according to the company as word has spread, orders are coming in from the rest of Europe and further afield.

Pagliero claim that the main reason for the lifts success is its double telescopic boom design, giving nine metres of outreach at nine metres height and 200kgs capacity, with constant zero tailswing.

So far the model is available on a Nissan Cabstar chassis cab with 2.9metre wheelbase, the unusual low profile make it an easy lift to handle on the road, essential for the self drive market.
