Hiab makes senior appointments

Hiab, the truck loader crane manufacturer has appointed Harri Ahola, currently the managing director of, Hiab Cranes S.L. in Zaragoza, Spain, has been appointed as senior vice president of the Loader Crane product line with a position on the Hiab management board.

Until further notice he will also retain responsibility for the Spanish business, but will relocate to the group head office in Helsinki.

Prior to his taking over in Spain Ahola worked for over more than 20 years at Kone corporation in several management positions in Finland as well as abroad.

Markus Hämäläinen has been appointed as vice president, business development, Mergers & Acquisitions. His main focus will be on Mergers and Acquisitions and will participate in Hiab's strategic planning process and advise on ongoing M&A activities.

Hämäläinen worked previously as Senior Legal Counsel in the Cargotec Legal Department.
