Ramirent up 23%

Ramirent, the Finnish based rental company with operations in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Baltic states, Poland and Hungary, has reported revenue for 2005 of €389 million an increase of 23 percent. Earnings increased by 38.7 percent to €107 million.

Ramirent Sweden became the largest part of the group, even without a full years contribution from the Cramo acquisition. Its domestic market is now only its third largest business, behind Norway.

The company says that it expects equipment rental markets in the Nordic countries to grow moderately, with strong growth in Eastern and Central European countries. The company is working on further acquisitions as well as investing in new capacity for 2006.
