At the same time it was the fifth anniversary of Riwal Scandinavia. As with another recent recruit to Riwal, Rosenkrands left Genie to establish the new venture back in 2001.
Well over 200 guests attended the event which was held in the company’s workshops. Specially decorated for the event. The display in the yard included a number of new models from Omme, JLG and a Genie Z-135 fresh in for the event.

Riwal is adding 220 new units to its Scandinavian fleet this year taking it to over 700 machines, after disposals of around 100 used machines.
The company has not released its numbers for 2005 yet, but Rosenkrands says that revenues were up by 30 percent with a strong profit growth. He said that the strong local market had enabled rates to rise at the same time as utilization. The outlook for 2006 is a continuation of the same trend.
Riwal Scandinavia A/S currently employs 30 staff and operates a fleet of 580 machines, of which 75 are Telehandlers. Riwal has in Demark today a little more than 30 people employed, divided into the three main sectors of sales, service and transport.
