First glimpse of new Iteco boom

At last years Platformers Days, Iteco told us that it was planning a new range of booms lifts, the first unit, a 50 ft (15.3 metre) platform height articulated boom lift, with both Diesel and battery electric power on board, is currently under construction.

The unit is a classic dual riser plus jib configurations, with an overall width of 1.8 metres. Lift capacity of 220 kgs, a full 180 degrees of platform rotation and a 180 degree rotating jib.

The Iteco IT50DE

With 10 metres of outreach, from a narrow base the specification is very strong, at present details such as gradeability etc are not available.

New "Off-slab scissor"

Iteco is also launching an “Off-Slab” compact electric scissor lift called the IT8151, with overall width of 1.5 metres, 400 kg lift capacity, overall length of 2.6 metres and GVW of 2,900 kgs it looks to be a handy unit for working on outdoor locations around a building.

Ground clearance at 250mm (around nine inches or so) allows it to move around on gravel and less than perfect ground.
