Based in Erith near Dartford, Orion currently serves both domestic and commercial users throughout South East England providing a wide range of vehicle and trailer mounted machines with working heights ranging from 12 metres up to 45 metres, together with a comprehensive selection of self-propelled booms and scissor lifts. The company also provides tailored training courses by IPAF qualified instructors.
Paul Chalk of Orion Access said: “We already operate a number of 20m truck-mounted platforms but decided to go for the SkyKing platform for two main reasons; the fact that it is hydraulically operated, rather than electro-hydraulic, which means less likelihood of breakdown and easier maintenance and its cage load capacity of 220kg where similar machines only provide up to 200kg.”
