New sales supremo at JCB

JCB has appointed a Mathew Taylor to take over the role of managing director of worldwide sales from Françoise Rausch who will move to the role of executive director of JCB Sales, spearheading elements of JCB’s growth plans, with initial responsibility for her native country France.

Taylor, 45, joins JCB from Ford Motor Company where for past five years he has been managing director of Land Rover.

John Patterson, managing director and CEO of JCB said: “It is a measure of the success of JCB that we have been able to recruit someone of Matthew Taylor’s calibre to the key worldwide sales role. JCB remains very ambitious and I know that Matthew will make a significant contribution to our future growth”.
