Palfinger announce new specialist crane
Palfinger has added a further model to its range of special cranes for specific applications. The PK 25001 EL has been developed specially to meet the requirements of roofing contractors and joinery firms.
The company says that it is also suited for foundation construction work and the erection of prefabricated houses.
The PK 25001 EL meets the requirements of these trades thanks to its combination of long outreach with fast working speeds, ideal for erection work.

The new Palfinger PK25001EL crane for roofers
Key features include a standard radio remote control system, HPLS (High Power Lifting System), oil cooler, return oil utilisation and a high speed winch.
Its long base and knuckle-booms help provide excellent basic outreach, with its four-section extension system the maximum powered outreach is 25.5 metres. The crane is also fitted with the PowerLink Plus system. This makes it possible for the knuckle boom to articulate eight degrees above the base boom.
The PK25001 includes a full size slew ring as standard, and offers a dual slew drive option, in order to provide increases slewing torque.
