Palfinger upgrades L cranes

Palfinger is replacing the PK 16000L and PK 19000 long boom loader cranes, with four new models, the PK 21001L, PK 24001L, PK 18001L and PK 21001L The new products will be available from this week.

The new Palfinger PK 18001L

The new cranes offer capacities 15 percent higher than their predecessors while maintaining the same overall weight.

The new cranes also feature a central base frame. That, the company says, optimises stability as well as lowering the centre of gravity. A slewing range of 440 degrees provides full coverage regardless of the trucks position.

The PK 21001L and PK 24001L can be equipped with up to four hydraulic extensions to give a maximum outreach of 16.1 metres.
They also feature standard radio remote controls and Palfinger’s HPLS (High Power Lifting System), which offers lifting capacities to be increased by 10% in connection with a reduction of the working speed.

The PK 18001L and PK 21001L are equipped as standard with a high seat, in order to provide an optimal view of the load. The cranes are controlled using a joystick system, and include outrigger controls from the high seat.
