JLG makes Vertex partnership official

JLG has appointed Vertex as its distributor for the Russian market, the agreement was signed a couple of weeks ago at the Oshkosh/JLG offices in Moscow.

The agreement covers the full JLG product line including all access equipment and JLG telehandlers. Vertex will sell and fully support the products, including hold a spare parts inventory and marketing JLG parts in the country.

The company has been buying JLG equipment throughout this year, its most recent successes have included four 26ft scissor lifts to Aeroflot in July, 14 new JLG booms for the Yamal Liquified Natural Gas plant in Western Siberia and most recently two 150ft JLG 1500SJP telescopic boom lifts for the Aktogay copper mining and processing plant in Kazakhstan.

Vertex was established in 2012 by two ex-employees of LTECH. Sergey Chunin who was previously with the company’s Moscow sales team and, Dmitry Pankin the former head of its office in Nizhniy Novgorod. See new access company in Russia The two were partners in the venture with commercial vehicle manufacturer ST Nizhegorodets which later began importing and mounting Oil & Steel truck mounted lifts for the local market. Vertex also distributes Valla pick & carry cranes, Palazzani spider lifts and Maber mast climbers.
