New van mounted manufacturer
Time France owner Gelev Group has officially launched its new Klubb van mounted lift subsidiary and inaugurated its new production facility in a ceremony for customers and potential partners.

The new 20,000 square metre facilityat Ferrieres-en-Brie on the east side of Paris, will also be home to the existing Time France business, although the name is being changed to Klubb, and the company is unlikely to remain the Time Versalift distributor much beyond April.

The 12.5 metre Klubb K32 on a 3.5 Tonne van
The new models are: the 11.8 metre K26, designed to be mounted on a short wheel-base or cutaway chassis van with an outreach of 6.8 metres, the K32 a 3.5 tonne,12.5 metre one-person platform without stabilisers and the 9.2 metre K21 mounted on a 2.8 tonne Renault Traffic. All three have a similar two section telescopic boom with variable length fixed jibs.

The company says that it will also unveil two further models, the 13.8 metre K38P with an articulating jib, and possibly a 15 metre model - at Bauma in April.

The new facility has a capacity, according to the company, to build at least 1,000 Klubb van mounted platforms a year, aimed at contractors working with billboards and street furniture along with local authorities and utilities.
Chief executive Julien Bourrellis said: "Our philosophy is simple, we are focusing on the van-mounted aerial platform market in order to develop products that are the perfect match for our clients' needs and to offer them the best service, both before and after sale. Our aim is to become the European leader in the sector."

The tour of the platform mounting area
The company said that it will be announcing a number of distribution agreements for the Klubb range in the near future, the first of which is UK based access supplier CPL (Cumberland Platforms).
