New Grove dealer for Indonesia
PT SH Machinery Indonesia - a subsidiary of Singapore based Sin Heng Heavy Machinery - has been appointed as Grove All Terrain crane distributor for Indonesia
PT SH Machinery currently operates from a three storey office building in Kabupaten Tangerang, but has plans to expand its facilities in order to stock an inventory of new cranes, in anticipation of growing demand for Grove cranes. Grove currently sells its All Terrain cranes directly to end users in Indonesia.
Sin Heng Heavy Machinery was established in 1969 to provide lifting solutions for a wide range of industries, including construction, marine, and oil & gas. It already runs eight Grove cranes in its rental fleet, two 130 tonne GMK 5130-2, a 220 tonne GMK5220, a 220 tonne GMK6220L and two 300 tonne GMK6300, along with an RT890 and RT9130 Rough Terrain.

Tan Cheng Guan, executive director of Sin Heng Heavy Machinery said: “We are truly honoured and proud to be recognised as the official trading partner for this global crane manufacturer. Over the years, Grove has established itself as one of the most recognised and reliable names in the crane industry. This new partnership will further enhance our position as a leading crane distributor in Indonesia.”
“When we started selling Grove All Terrain cranes we looked at the repair costs for the cranes that we have in our rental fleet and were pleasantly surprised at how low it was. We are focusing on Grove All Terrain cranes for now, but we hope to expand our Grove crane offerings in the future as we continue to develop our partnership”.
Raman Joshi Manitowoc/Grove general manager for Asia Pacific added: “Sin Heng has established a strong presence in Indonesia over the years, selling equipment and providing service to many industries including oil and gas, ship building and civil construction. We see tremendous synergy in this working partnership. Sin Heng Heavy Machinery is at a stage where it is primed for growth and we are confident in the company’s ability to deliver.”
