Panther spends £2.5 million

Panther Platform Rentals has invested £2.5million in 150 new aerial lifts most of which will be used to expand the company’s fleet. The purchases include both scissor and boom lifts from Genie, Skyjack and Niftylift.

The company says that the additional units were required to service an increasing client-base across the UK, including its two new depots in Manchester and Lincoln.

“This is a most significant investment for Panther and one that was necessary in order to meet increasing demand,” said joint managing director Richard Miller.

“We now supply clients across the country and we simply needed more machines. This is the first major capital expenditure for our rental fleet since the Lavendon acquisition and demonstrates the group’s commitment to Panther Platform Rentals
