United acquires two more outlets

United Rentals, Inc. has purchased the equipment sales and rental assets of Carter Rental, a two location general rental company in Valdosta, Georgia. Carter has annual revenues of around $10 million.

Kenneth Perkins, vice president − Southeast Region for United Rentals, said, "Carter Rentals' operations are ideally positioned to complement our branch network serving southern Georgia and northern Florida. The acquisition enhances our ability to share equipment and provide expert solutions to customers in the region."
