Palazzani launches new Ragno XTJ48
Palazzani has divided its range of Ragno (Spider) machines into two ranges, the TSJ & XTJ. The TSJ machines have a telescopic main boom and articulating jib, while the XTJ models feature a shorter main boom and telescopic jib.
The first model under this new designation is the XTJ48; Palazzani has already shipped the first “R” wheeled versions of this new model, while the first “C” crawler mounted models will be completed at the end of September.

Palazzani says that it will be ready to demonstrate the new models to any interested buyers at that time.
PASS (Powered Access Sales & Service), the Palazzani dealer in the UK says that it is planning to organise trips to the factory in Italy for any interested UK buyers between September and the end of the year.
The XTJ48 features a maximum platform height of over 46 metres and 14.5m maximum outreach. With the seven section main boom fully extended, the telescopic jib offers up to 4.5 metres of horizontal reach at a 41 metre platform height.

The new Palazzani XTJ48/R
The R or wheeled version is only 1.15 metres wide and weighs 10,500 kgs, maximum lift capacity is 200kgs, while the large 2.4 metre wide platform includes 150 degrees of rotation, 75 degrees either side of centre.
The XTJ/C - Crawler mounted version has an overall width of 1.9 metres and weighs 12,500 kgs. Both R and C models include both diesel and electric power sources.
