SGB wins major contract

SGB Holland has been awarded three year contract for scaffolding and related access services at the 1,400 acre Shell Netherlands complex, in Rotterdam.

The company estimates that the new contract will add well over €15 million of incremental sales over the period. The contract includes a two year extension option.

SGB has worked at the site for over 20 years but has now added further services to the work it has traditionally carried out, including the installation of thermal insulation, a newly-added capability for SGB, following Harsco’s acquisition of the Cleton industrial maintenance services business in Europe.

Cleton specialises in providing insulation and related scaffolding services for the maintenance of large-scale industrial facilities, it has worked at the Shell Netherlands facility for over 60 years.
