308 Genies for Michielsens

Allift Michielsens NV, the Belgian access company, part of the Crane and Access group Michielsens, has ordered 308 aerial lifts from Genie, to both expand its 600 unit rental fleet and as sales inventory.

The order covers a wide range of models from the Genie range, and the company expects over half of them will sold on to end users by its sales department. Michielsens says that it has already sold almost 200 Genie lifts in the first half of 2006 and is looking at increasing demand over the next six months.

Further investments in the rental fleet are budgeted for the second half.
