Trackunit acquires Satrak
Danish telematics company Trackunit has acquired the UK based telematics provider Satrak.
Headquartered in Leeds, Satrak has a population of 23,000 vehicles fitted with its tracking and telematics system throughout the country. The company will continue to operate from its Leeds base, and will gradually transition its operations to the Trackunit brand. No details of the transaction have been released.
The acquisition takes Trackunit's installed base of telematics units is now over 300,000 vehicles worldwide. Trackunit recently signed a partnership agreement with Skyjack to power its Elevate telematics and remote monitoring system - see
