450t Liebherr for Denmark

Danish rental company Kran Kompagniet has taken delivery of a 450 tonne Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 All Terrain crane.

The eight axle crane can travel complete with its 85 metre main boom in place, along with outriggers and winch within 12 tonne axle loads. It joins a fleet that also includes two 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1s, a 160 tonne LTM 1160-5.2, three 200 tonne LTM 1200-5.1s and a 300 tonne LTM 1300-6.2.

The new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 is delivered

Chief executive Casper Petersen said: "This crane is absolutely perfect for the Danish market. Its long boom and short set-up times make the LTM 1450-8.1 particularly efficient to use. The standard crane controller on Liebherr cranes mean that the crane drivers can simply switch between machines, which significantly improves our flexibility. The high standard of service is another major factor behind why we purchase Liebherr cranes."
