A few more pics from SAIE

After a promising start SAIE grew very quiet this afternoon, not unusual on day one. News included Isoli taking on the distribution of Versalift for Italy, possibly with some quid pro quo in other markets.

Valla launched a brand new compact 40 tonne electric powered industrial pick and carry crane.

Oxley is testing the waters in Italy with Unic.

CTE and its Sol.Ge subsidiary provided an update on its progress with Effer and Bizzocchi, which should see revenues of around €44 million this year. The CTE group as a whole is likely to be in the $120 million range. While CTE, the manufacturer and Genie distributor has already passed, last year’s revenues at the nine month stage.

Effer has launched what it claims is the larges loader crane ever, while almost every truck mount, loader crane, and telehandler producer is displaying new models.

GSR presented a number of new products, including a new 20 metre E200T which offers up to 12.9 metres outreach, mounted to a new MB Sprinter Euro 4 chassis.

More details to follow from a hot and dry Bologna.
