Manitex adds to dealer network

US boom truck and crane manufacturer Manitex has appointed DC Bates Equipment and Dozier Crane & Machinery as distributors.

Established in 1985, DC Bates Equipment is based in Hopedale, Massachusetts, where it supplies material handling equipment and custom fabrications to a variety of crane and rigging customers. It will distribute the growing line of Manitex trolley boom trucks for pallet fork applications such as blocks and brisk.

A Manitex 110 trolley crane

Dozier Crane, a crane sales and rental company located in Pooler, Georgia, will offer the regular Manitex boom truck product line. The company was established around 40 years ago and also distributes Terex, Demag and Shuttlelift cranes.

Manitex chief operating officer Steve Kiefer said: “The successful launch of new products like the 110 trolley boom crane has played an important role in our new equipment sales ramp up since the market bottom, we are excited about the opportunity to supply Bates Equipment.”
