Harness saves mechanics life
A tower crane mechanic fell from the machinery deck of a 35 metre high crane at the Futuroscope theme park near Poitiers, France yesterday.
Fortunately his harness was attached preventing him falling to his death. He managed to climb back to the crane cab, but was both shocked and injured from the fall and had to be brought down by the local fire service.
