Platform jumper
The Platform Company sponsored one of its employees, Lindsey Lewis, in a first time parachute jump in aid of charity. Lewis, an administrator at The Platform Company’s Liverpool depot, made the jump to raise funds for breast cancer and has so far netted an impressive £700.

Lewis made her tandem skydive at Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria, from the North West Parachute Centre. She said that the experience was exhilarating, but also said that it was her last!
“It was very exciting but I felt I couldn’t breathe and was very relieved when the canopy opened,” she said. “It was well worthwhile, though, to have been able to raise so much money for Breast Cancer. I organised the jump in conjunction with the justgiving.com website and sponsorship money is still coming in.”
Lee Perry, managing director of The Platform Company, said: “We’re extremely proud of her, a number of employees also sponsored her and it’s great that she has raised so much money for such a worthy cause.”
