New Manitou telehandler

Manitou has launched the MLT-X 961-145 V+ L telehandler for the agricultural market.

The new nine metre/6,000kg telehandler has a forward reach of 5.4 metres, at which it can handle 1,400kg - it can also take 5,000kg at its maximum lift height. It has an overall width of 2.48 metres and an overall length of 6.1 metres.

Manitou MLT-X 961-145 V+ L

The MLT-X 961 features an Eco-Mode for optimal fuel consumption, and also includes an ‘Intelligent Hydraulics’ package, featuring ‘Quicklift’, which allows the operator to extend or retract the boom whilst lifting it, ‘Bucket shaker’ which allows the operator to shake the bucket by using the controls, and ‘Return to load’ which memorises the exact angle and position of the bucket, enabling the machine to automatically return to the start position during loading operations. The sound levels in the cab during normal operation are only 72 decibels, which according to Manitou is the quietest on the market.
