New MD for Haulotte Germany

Haulotte has appointed Thomas Wegeler to manage its German distribution subsidiary Haulotte Hubarbeitsbühnen, which based in Eschbach near Freiburg.

He joined the company at the start of the year having worked for the past year or so as a freelance accredited management consultant specialising in sales and marketing issues. Prior to that he worked with Austrian printing machine specialist Kainzbauer as branch manager of its NL Vienna operation and divisional manager for its Kainzabauer 3D printing business.

Thomas Wegeler

He began his career in 2003 as a major account manager with the German division of Japanese conglomerate Kyocera, moving to its Austrian operation as sales manager in 2008. In 2013 he moved to Samsung’s Austrian print and document handling business, becoming printing solutions and IT channels a year later. In late 2014 he was recruited by Xerox as general manager of its Austrian ECG business before leaving for Kainzbauer in late 2107.

While Haulotte has confirmed the appointment it declined to make an official statement. The appointment follows the departure of Thomas Stock, who resigned from the job in September after almost eight years in the job.
