Conexpo to close early

AEM the organisers of Conexpo have decided to close the show a day early, following president Trump’s decision to ban flights from the European mainland, which prompted many companies to decide to close up in order to ensure that their staff would be able to get home.

The show had a slow first day followed by two very busy days, in terms of visitor numbers and interest. Thursday afternoon saw some heavy rain later on, and faced with several companies wanting to pack up early in light of the travel uncertainty, the organisers announced that the show would end at 17:00 on Friday, rather than 15:00 on Saturday.

Vertikal Comment

This decision makes sense given the currently levels of uncertainty and the fact that Saturday can be a very quiet day at Conexpo at the best of times.
