Snorkel in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria rental company Elevaciones Archipiélago has taken delivery of five Snorkel Rough Terrain and slab electric scissor lifts.

The order includes three bi-energy Rough Terrain scissor lifts – two 39ft S3970BEs and a 33ft S3370BE – as well as a 26ft S3226E slab electric scissor lift and an 8ft S3008P push-around. The scissor lifts were delivered by Spanish subsidiary Ahern Iberica, which was established this time last year – see: Ahern in Spain.

Elevaciones Archipiélago finance director, Juan Blas Betancor, said: “We have worked with Enrique since the launch of Ahern Ibérica, and are very impressed with the level of customer and technical service that we are receiving. Indeed, having access to ‘ready to rent’ stock machines in Spain is a great benefit. On this particular order, we received a rental order for two additional machines on the same day that we were collecting the bi-energy scissor lifts. They were already in stock at the facility, so we were able to add them to the order and take them with us on the same day. This is a major bonus for rental companies in the region.”
