Erik Geene joins new Sinoboom team

The new European operation of Chinese manufacturer Sinoboom has appointed Erik Geene as vice president business development.

Geene has been working with Sinoboom’s Polish European partner Liftstore since 2018, when he was appointed as part of a new European distribution operation in Poland with plans to add a centre in the Netherlands - see: Sinoboom opens European Hub.

Sinoboom has now set up a wholly owned operation Sinoboom BV in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands. Managed by Tim Whiteman, it officially opens next week - see Sinoboom Europe opening. Geene will be responsible for overseeing Sinoboom business development across Europe.

Sinoboom said: “Liftstore which will continue to work closely with Sinoboom to provide a first class customer experience across Europe.”

Geene began his powered access career in 1992 as a sales and service engineer with HDW, the Genie distributor for the Netherlands. 12 years later he went to work with Genie directly as a sales manager based in the Netherlands, leaving in 2018 to join Liftstore.

Speaking of his new appointment Geene said: “I have seen how impressed customers are with the quality and strength of the Sinoboom range and am delighted to be a part of this new team, don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.”
