Kuiphuis adds new location

Dutch crane rental company Kuiphuis Kraanverhuur has acquired J&H Kraanverhuur, part of the Van Klinken group of Valthermond, in the north east corner of the Netherlands.

The agreement is an asset purchase deal with Kuiphuis taking over all directly associated equipment and staff. The J&H crane business is very modest and includes a four axle Tadano Faun All Terrain crane.

Kuiphuis Kraanhuur owner Bob Bruijsten said: "Scale is very important in our industry and we consciously choose to work from multiple locations. The closer to the customer, the better we can keep prices by saving on travel time and costs. J&H Crane Rental has a good operator and a good customer base, we can move forward with that."

J&H added. "We have made the strategic choice to focus further on our other rental activities. Kuiphuis wants to keep the location in Valthermond and will offer our operator more opportunities than we could."

Kuiphuis Kraanverhuur runs an extensive fleet of mobile cranes which includes a fleet of Spierings mobile self-erectors, crawler cranes and 360 degree telehandlers. It operates throughout the north, east and central Netherlands from locations in Arnhem, Dedemsvaart, Deventer, Hardenberg, Hoogeveen, Oldenzaal, Neede, Utrecht, Twello and Bad Bentheim (Germany).
