Multitel distribution partnership for Germany

Over the past 20 years Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has gained a substantial share of the German truck mounted lift market, particularly in the sub-30 metre sector.

Much of that success has been down to the efforts of its dealer Becker Arbeitsbühnen and in particular managing director Johannes Becker and his sales manager Jaroslaw Dobroniak. However, Becker has now said that the growing potential is becoming too much for the Becker team to handle alone.

He said: "The last 20 years have shown that we are on the right course with Multitel, and the business has been continuously expanding. More and more enquiries from end users are now reaching us, and our capacity to provide high quality and sustainable sales and service support to the sector has been reached for us."

As a result, the company has formed an ‘alliance’ with Yama Saha's company Sahalift, which will take over Multitel end user sales, having cooperated with Becker since March. Becker and Dobroniak will now focus more of their efforts towards handling the Multitel sales and support for rental companies.

Becker added: "We are pleased to have the Sahalift sales team on board as a partner to provide long term support to end user customers and thus meet our high standard of customer service."

Yama Saha added: "I am pleased that Johannes Becker has placed his trust in us to work closely together and that we will jointly represent the product portfolio of the Italian premium manufacturer Multitel in Germany in the future. Sahalift was formed from the management buy-out of Ommelift Deutschland by Yama Saha in September last year - see: Ommelift Deutschland MBO. The company also handles Airo boom and scissor lifts, Almac tracked scissor and boom lifts, and more recently added Aichi boom lifts.
