GB scissor lift

UK training company Operator Training Services (OTS) has taken delivery of an 11.5ft ELS EL5.5 Junior SP scissor lift painted in a special union jack livery.

The self-propelled EL5.5 offers a working height of 5.5 metres with a platform capacity of 240kg. Weighing 440kg, it has a stowed height of 1.78 metres and an overall width of 750mm. Features include integrated fork lift pockets, saloon style entry and an audible alarm when the platform is descending.

The machine was auctioned off at Vertikal Days by distributor Alfa Access with £1,000 of the proceedings being donated to a charity of choice. OTS opted for the Air Ambulance Kent, Surrey and Sussex, an independent charity that provides emergency medical care to thousands of people each year throughout the south east of the UK.

Based locations in Kent and Surrey, OTS specialises in working at height training, offering courses from IPAF, PASMA and the Ladder Association.
