CTO for Oshkosh
JLG parent Oshkosh has appointed Jay Iyengar as chief technology and strategic sourcing officer, with responsibility for Oshkosh’s vision and strategy in this area.
She will also be responsible for global strategic sourcing activities focused on building a supply chain capable of delivering next generation technologies.

She joins the company from CNH (Case New Holland) where she has been chief technology and Quality officer for the past two years or so.
She began her career as a senior engineer with General Motors where she focused on Powertrain and advanced emissions controls. Nine years later she moved to Chrysler to become a senior manager and then a global director/chief engineer, for Chrysler and Fiat’s electric propulsion programmes. In 2012 she joined Eaton as vice president of Aerospace Engineering & Technology. Three years later she was recruited by Xylem as chief innovation & technology officer, making the move to CNH at the end of 2019.

Iyengar was educated in mechanical engineering at the National Institute of Engineering in Karnataka, India, followed by the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
