Svelt appoints Indfast

Svelt, Italy’s leading producer of ladders, podium steps and scaffold towers has appointed Indfast to stock, sell and market its products in the UK. Indfast has also taken on the Altrex range of ladders, towers and platforms for the UK

Indfast is a new company founded towards the end of 2006, as a sister company to an eight year old distributor of ventilation equipment supplying the HEVAC industry throughout the UK.

Indfast’s new Access Products division is headed by sales director, Ian Frost and the company will have the benefit of the groups four stocking and distribution centres within the UK.

The company will offer the full ranges from both Svelt and Altrex including ladders and towers from stepladders to extension and combination ladders through to heavy-duty trade access towers.

Svelt has also developed a new low cost tower for the retail market which it hopes will do well in the UK,. Dubbed the Jolly Tower, it has dimensions of 1.05metres x two metres. The tower is delivered in retail type packaging shrink wrapped with a display type packing slip with no separate parts, making it easy to stock and delivery avoiding errors or missing parts.
