Dawes adds to sales team

US crane and rigging company Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental has appointed Terry Hoops as regional sales representative for Minnesota with responsibility for bare and operated rentals, as well as all equipment sales across the state.

He joins the company after 15 years selling equipment for Triple H Supply and Truck Utilities mostly selling booms truck including those from Manitex.

Terry Hoops

He began his career in 1985 as a Staff Sergeant with the Minnesota National Guard, leaving after 12 years to set up his own sales company Action Construction. In 2004 he moved to Forrer supply a pipeline supply company, as regional sales and operations manager. Joining Truck Utilities in 2007.

Speaking of his appointment Hoops said: "I pride myself on understanding what customers are trying to accomplish and helping them find the right equipment solutions to make it happen. Customers who've worked with me in the past know me as the boom truck guy, but I've always had to defer their larger equipment needs to others. I'm excited that now I can represent Dawes and be customers' one-stop shop for lift equipment."
