CP goes for Skyjack booms

CP Hire, one of Irelands largest privately owned rental companies, has taken delivery of its first new Skyjack boom lifts from local dealer Glendun Plant.

The first units to arrive are two 86ft SJ86Ts which feature a three section telescopic boom topped by a jib with 125 degrees of articulation with 23.4 metres of outreach. Unrestricted platform capacity is 227kg, while it can reach to around 20 metres with the 341kg maximum platform capacity.

The official handover

Glendun sales director Dermot Cunnie said: “We are delighted to place our first Skyjack boom lifts with CP Hire. This follows on the back of the very successful performance of nearly 100 DC & RT diesel Skyjack scissors placed with CP over the past three years. With horizontal reach of nearly 24 metres within its working envelope, the Skyjack 86T is one of the best straight booms on the market.”
