He joins the company after four years with office furniture contractor Leyform where he has been export manager for the past two years. He began his career in 2011 with a contractor’s technical studio working on computer models for data management and energy use audits. In 2015 he spent a short period as an intern with the Italian chamber of commerce in Canada, moving to Ireland the following year, initially with Glass Lewis and then Cook medical, returning to Italy in 2017 to work with tech consulting firm Qintesi, moving to Leyform at the end of the year.
Speaking of his new role Piccin said: “My decision to join Jekko has been very positive. This company is innovative, dynamic and fast growing. I’m really glad to work for Jekko and to devote my work and experience to the company’s evolution."
Sales manager Alberto Franceschini added: “It’s been simple to come to the decision to hire Marco as export area manager. I’ve been impressed by his humility and his will to meet the challenges. He’s a great sportsman who has no problem in facing the market challenges with the same perseverance and resilience he uses in the sports world. He’s the last piece of Jekko’s sales/marketing jigsaw, a dynamic team of nine diverse people whose skills and previous experiences get together in a productive environment of confrontation and collaboration. We’re sure that Marco will best represent Jekko while supplying a timely service to the dealers in the areas within his competence."
