Old new non-exec for Smart

Access industry veteran Jeff Eisenberg has re-joined UK truck mounted rental specialist Smart Platforms as a non-executive director.

Eisenburg, along with two of the current directors Andy Burt and Chris Searle, was one of the founders of Smart in 2002 and has returned to “provide his expertise in asset finance and strategic financial planning to assist with the company’s growth aspirations.”

Jeff Eisenberg


Eisenberg, who left the company around 18 years ago, began his access industry career in 1996 with Genie, as director of financial services Europe, having joined the company from a similar role at Johnson & Johnson.
In 2000 he moved to access rental company Universal Aerial Platforms to work with John Ambrose, leaving just two years later to help set up Smart Platforms.

Since leaving Smart in 2004 he has worked with Riwal, Pump Power Rental and is now with pump rental company Hydrainer Holdings. Along the way he has consulted with a wide range of companies thought his Claremont Consulting business.
