CMC for Westminster

The recently formed CMC lift UK has delivered a 23 metre S23 lithium battery powered spider lift to the UK houses of Parliament in Westminster, London, following a successful join tender effort by rental company Star Platforms and CMC UK.

The new CMC S23 arrives in Westminster

The new machine was delivered to the Houses of Parliament earlier this month for work on the restoration and renewal programme that is currently underway.

The S23 has a 23 metre working height, an unrestricted outreach of 12.4 metres with a platform capacity of 200kg and up & over reach of nine metres. Its overall stowed width is 850mm, which expands to 1.25 metres for additional stability when travelling. The outrigger footprint can be varied from an overall width from 2.5 to 2.85 metres, while the overall weight of the machine is 2,865kg.
