Three new directors for Workplatform

UK based Genie distributor Workplatform has promoted three of its key team members to its board of directors.

Sales manager Paul Harbey becomes sales director, having joined the company in 2010 from what was Genie UK where he had worked since the millennium. Speaking of his promotion he said: “I’m delighted with this appointment, it has been a pleasure working with the excellent team at Workplatform. I genuinely don’t know where the last 12 years have gone”

Service manager Adam Smith has been promoted to service director, he joined Workplatform in 2011 from Genie UK where he has been a service engineer for more than seven years, starting in 2004. He had previously worked as a service engineer with A&V squires plant since starting his career in 1993. Of his new appointment he said: “Workplatform is driven by doing a good job for our customers and that is something that I can easily relate to”

Last but not least Dean Brooks steps up to the role of operations director, he joined Workplatform in 2015 from Genie where he had spent the previous 14 years in sales and operational roles, both in the UK and at the Genie’s European Distribution Centre in the Netherlands. He adds: “We have got a great team here at Workplatform and I am looking forward to playing my part in the continued growth of the business, working with our business partners and continuing the development of our team members”.

Jonathan Hull company founder who continues to play an active role in the company said: “I am honoured to have worked with these people for the past 20 years or so and I am thrilled to be able to reward them for all of their hard work and dedication. These appointments will ensure that Workplatform continues to go from strength to strength”.

Workplatform is based near Donnington Park and East Midlands Airport in central England, and provides the full service sales, including parts, repairs, service contracts and engineering support. It is also an approved IPAF Training Centre.

The Workplatform team will be out in force next week at Vertikal Days, in Peterborough. So you can stop by and congratulate them.
