Haulotte rebuilds for Mainsa

Spanish rental company Mainsa Plataformas has started working with Haulotte Iberica to refurbish/rebuild some of its older Haulotte platforms, as part of the manufacturer’s Second Life programme.

The first five units, two 33ft Rough Terrain scissor lifts, an H12 SD and an H12 SX, along with a 69ft H23 TPX telescopic boom lift have already re-entered the Mainsa fleet, with further units heading to Haulotte’s workshops in Madrid.
The majority of the work involved with rebuilds includes the restoration of core mechanical components, along with bearings, pivot pins and shafts as well as telescopic boom chains and pads. While all control box switches and decals were changed, and the machines repainted.

Haulotte Iberica service manager Luis Perez Santos said: “Our refurbishment solutions increase the machines’ lifespan significantly. They enhance the equipment’s safety and improve their residual value. We thank Mainsa for the trust they are placing in Haulotte second life programmes.”
Mainsa is based in Heras, Cantabria - south east of Santander in Northern Spain. In addition to the aerial lift sales and rental operation, the company has two other divisions, one that sells and services overhead cranes and another that sells, rental and services forklifts.
