Ruthmann Reachmaster expands team

US based sales company Ruthmann Reachmaster has promoted Tom Goyer to company vice president, and appointed Robin Paeper as Western region/national account manager, while Samantha Ayala-Linan becomes sales and marketing coordinator.

Tom Goyer

Tom Goyer joined Ruthmann North America in mid-2018 as vice president, when Ruthmann acquired Reachmaster in 2020 Goyer stayed with the business, becoming vice president of truck mounted sales for the merged operation. He began his career in 1995 with fire and rescue vehicle manufacturer eOne as regional manager, taking over as aerial sales manager after four years, and then director of Southeast and Central regions, leaving in 2005 for Vehicle systems as director of sales, service and finance. Barely a year later him moved to SimplexGrinnell as a district general manager. In 2012 he moved back into aerial work platforms, joining Bronto North America as a regional sales manager, leaving for Ruthmann six and half years later.

Tom Goyer

Ebbe Christensen President, said, “In addition to Tom’s extensive experience in sales of truck mounted aerial equipment, this appointment will leverage his operational and management experience as we grow.”

Goyer added: “The whole industry has faced global supply chain and logistical issues. We have met these challenges with growing sales. This has emphasised the need for a management structure able to react quickly to market changes. I look forward to becoming a more integrated part of daily management efforts.”

Robin Paeper

Robin Paeper previously worked with H&E Equipment as a branch manager in the Los Angeles area, he left the company a few months ago after almost two years in the role.
He began his career as a branch manager with United Rentals in 1998. Leaving in mid-2006 to set up his own business Go Green Construction and then 44 West Construction. He re-entered the equipment rental market in 2010 when he joined Sunbelt Rentals as branch manager, once again in the Los Angeles area. After 10 years in the role, he made the move the H&E.

Robin Paeper

Christensen said: “Robin will operate out of Los Angeles expanding our activities in the region, as well as servicing our national accounts. He brings immense industry experience from a long career as manager for national rental companies. We have sales coverage on the west coast through the Wirant Sales, however adding Robin to further lead these efforts reflects our focus on getting closer to our customer.”

Paeper added: “I am excited to join the Ruthmann Reachmaster team, whom I have known for many years. Our combined vision for the future includes the growth of regional and national activities, this represents a great opportunity to promote the company’s range of specialty aerial equipment and glass manipulators.”

Samantha Ayala-Linan

Samantha Ayala-Linan, will take up her role as sales & marketing coordinator from the Ruthmann Reachmaster headquarters in Porter, Texas and will also serve as a liaison for the company’s growing activities in Mexico. She previously worked with Winlet, the glass handling robot manufacturer.
