Two senior appointments for LGMG in N.A

LGMG North America has appointed Rick Quick as director of product support while John Hofmeyer joins the company as director of sales & marketing. The appointments follow LGMG’s decision earlier this year to move its North American corporate headquarters to Dallas, Texas. See: LGMG North America to relocate

Rick Quick

Quick joins the company after almost five years as senior product support manager-North America at tractor manufacturer Mahindra. He began his career as a territory service rep with Ag Chem in 1998 after two and half years with the US Marines. In 2001 he moved to a similar role at Agco, becoming field service manager in 2004 followed by several further promotions during his 15 years with the company. He then moved to outsourcing and offshore consulting business EASi - now Actalent - where he was a programme manager and validation engineer, leaving for Mahindra two and a half years later.

John Hofmeyer

Hofmeyer joins LGMG after a year and a half with Florida-based Briggs JCB where he was sales manager. A rental industry veteran he began his career in 1987 as a salesman with S&R Equipment, taking over as manager of its Fort Wayne, Indiana branch in 1990.
In 1992 he became a territory manager at NES Rentals in Chicago, leaving after four years join rental group Brambles as national account manager. In 2001 he re-joined NES as sales manager, leaving for a similar position at Aggreko three years later. In 2007 he joined Metrolift as sales & marketing manager and after a stint of almost four years he moved to Chicago-based Patten CAT as general manager rental operations, taking up as similar position with Alta Equipment in 2018 changing to Briggs in mid-2021.

The company said: “LGMG is excited that Rick and John are joining the team and look forward to our bright future as we continue to expand service, support and sales to the aerial industry.”
