CMC Germany boosts sales team

The CMC distributor for Germany, CMC Arbeitsbühnen has added to its sales team with the appointment of Andre Gerdes as head of sales.

He joins the company after more than four years with Versalift as sales manager Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands & Eastern Europe. He left the business in March and has since had brief spells with Zoomlion and Klubb, before starting with CMC last month. He began his aerial lift career in 2010 as a regional sales manager with Ruthmann in Germany, leaving after six and a half years to set up on his own company, but joining Versalift two years later.

Andre Gerdes

He began his working life in 2001 as an apprentice with wood flooring and cladding manufacturer Parador, moving up through the business with roles such as export clerk and increasingly senior customer service roles.

Gerdes kicked off his life with CMC with a visit to the spider lift manufacturer’s production facility in Bari for familiarisation and training.
