Kranlyft manager for Germany
Kranlyft, the European master distributor for Maeda spider and mini crawler cranes, has appointed Roland Ritzensteiger as manager of its new German sales and service subsidiary.
He previously worked for Kranlyft’s former distributor Uplifter covering sales in Germany. He left in May, after three and half years with the company. Kranlyft announced the move to a direct sales operation in late August, See:
Kranlyft opens German subsidiary, but was not in a position to confirm who would manage the business. The formal launch of the new venture will take place at Bauma next week.

Roland Ritzensteiger
Ritzensteiger began his career in 1990 as an agricultural equipment technician with BayWa, leaving in 2006 for German battery manufacturer Moll then departing after two years to join agricultural equipment distributor Claas Nordostbayern - covering northern Bavaria - initially as workshop manager and then service manager. The move to Uplifter eight years later, introduced him to the mini crane market and his first sales role.
Speaking of his appointment he said: “I am happy to join the Kranlyft team and very confident that our strategy to build a professional hub in Germany makes a solid foundation for the benefit of all customers. I really look forward greeting both old and new customers at the booth of Maeda and Kranlyft during Bauma 2022. A world premiere from Maeda will be on display, and we are very excited to present this innovative product that many customers have been waiting for."
