New marketing director for JLG Americas

JLG has appointed Sara Vincent as director of marketing, she will lead the company’s marketing and communications initiatives for JLG aerial lifts and telehandlers, as well as Jerr-Dan recovery equipment in North and South America.
She takes over from Jennifer Stiansen, who has moved to a new role as vice president of global branding and communications for JLG’s parent company Oshkosh.

Sara Vincent


Vincent joins JLG from cyber risk company Arete, where she has been vice president of marketing for a brief period, following almost nine years with T-Mobile as director of marketing. She began her career in 2002 as public affairs manager with the National Centre for Food and Agricultural policy. Two years later she joined the well known PR and marketing agency Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as an account executive. In 2006 she moved into her first role in the telecoms sector, joining AT&T as a senior manager for marketing and communications, leaving after seven years for T Mobile.

Tim Morris, senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer support said: “Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences to this role that will support JLG’s and Jerr-Dan’s continued leadership in North and Latin America. She understands how to create strategic marketing initiatives to achieve our goals, and as she gains deeper knowledge of our businesses and operations, she’ll be a valuable resource for the company in reaching our customers.”

Vincent added: “I am excited to join the JLG and Jerr-Dan teams and look forward to contributing to our continued success. It’s an exciting time to bolster the team’s efforts to increase the presence of these iconic, innovation-driven brands in the Americas.”
