Another acquisition for US Service Group

New York based US Service Group has acquired all of the assets and operations of Dalton Rigging and Transport of West Hartford, Connecticut.
Dalton Rigging provides a wide range of rigging and moving services across Connecticut and Massachusetts including machinery moving, plant relocations, crane and gantry projects and heavy haulage.

Dalton Rigging president Kevin Dalton and most of the company’s employees will join the US Service group team along with Walker Crane & Rigging of nearby Plainville, Connecticut, which US Service acquired earlier this year.

Steve Laganas, who also owns well-established Able Rigging Contractors of Deer Park New York, set up US Service Group last year, when he acquired Transcope Services of Randolph, New Jersey with the aim to build a national rigging and machinery moving business.

Laganas said: "Acquiring Dalton Rigging, along with Walker, strengthens USSG's presence in the New England region and expands our network of rigging and logistics services into this attractive market. We are very pleased that Kevin Dalton and his team are now part of USSG. With Kevin’s history, stellar reputation, strong customer relationships and Walker’s broader scope of service capabilities, we see USSG will continue to grow and prosper in this market."
